When Dylan-Thomas Vance moved from Montana to Portland, it sounds like he took a chunk of the open country with him. Alternately gruff-voiced and campfire-quiet, Vance's music is a genuine sawdust-'n'-dirt go at finger-picked roots music and lap-steel country blues.
